Women’s Rights

Women’s rights refer to the legal, social, and economic rights that promote and protect the equality and dignity of women. This encompasses a range of issues including, but not limited to, the right to vote, the right to work, access to education, reproductive rights, protection against violence and discrimination, and the right to participate in political and public life. Women’s rights aim to ensure that women have the same opportunities and protections as men, advocating for gender equality and challenging societal norms that perpetuate inequality. The movement for women’s rights has a long history and continues to evolve, addressing both systemic issues and cultural practices that hinder the advancement of women’s status globally.
